HOW TO NOT WASTE YOUR SUMMER!

Summer is an amazing time, exams are over, the sun is out and everyone is usually very happy. However every time we get back from summer I ask people what they did, around 90% tell me they went on holiday for two weeks somewhere in the world. When I ask what else they did and this is the point in which they just say they "you know, I just relaxed". SUMMER IS 3 MONTHS LONG!!! YOU MUST HAVE DONE
No one does this in the summer
MORE!
So I decided to create a list of 5 ways to not waste your summer! Leggo

1) DON'T PRETEND TO HAVE THINGS PLANNED
If you find your self with nothing to do in the first few weeks of summer then you tricked your earlier self into thinking you were going to do loads of stuff. Actually plan things before hand!

2) DON'T RELAX TOO MUCH
After all that stress relaxation is something everyone craves for. However relaxing does not only mean marathoning all eleven seasons of NCIS, or breaking the world record for most hours spent playing COD in a single sitting . By all means do these things but only  RELAX FOR A MAXIMUM OF 4 DAYS

3) WORK EXPERIENCE?
If you're a student (like me) you really should get in at least 2 weeks of awesome work experience. Do some research and book something fun and different. Shadow an executive to a business or use your skills to help a small business expand themselves on-line using social media. All these things can be arranged, just do some research and start early!!

4) HOBBIES!
If you actually have a passion for something, anything, then do it and become better at it. If you want to learn something new then JUST DO IT. Please don't make excuses

5) GO TO A PRESTIGIOUS PLACE
Whether it's a museum, art gallery or the theatre make sure you go somewhere you can talk about. However make sure you are interested in the place you are going! There are some awesome exhibitions like the
DIGITAL REVOLUTION. It's on the 7th July and celebrates the transformation of arts through digital technology.

As always, Seemal
